Day 1 Thursday: From London to Belgium

We roll out from Stratford International and take the train to Dover, where the adventure begins. After crossing the Channel by ferry to Dunkirk, we hit the road for our first leg: a 60-mile ride through northern France into Kortrijk, Belgium, a historic cycling town and our first overnight stop.

Day 2 Friday: Kortrijk to Brussels (via Ghent)

Today’s route takes us deep into the Belgian countryside. We’ll ride through the cobbled charm of Ghent, before continuing on to the capital, Brussels. Expect smooth roads, café stops, and plenty of local character across another 60-mile day.

Day 3 Saturday:  Brussels to the Hook of Holland

Our longest and most rewarding day, 105 miles from Brussels to the Hook of Holland. Crossing borders and landscapes, this stage is what European cycling dreams are made of. We’ll finish by boarding the overnight ferry back to England, resting up as the ship carries us home.

Day 4 Sunday: Harwich to East London

We disembark at Harwich, ready for our final push, a 70-mile ride back to East London. It’s the perfect ending to an incredible journey: four days, three countries, and countless memories.

Qualified coach

Support vehicle

We will be riding accompanied with our belongings. A large saddle bag & frame/handlebar bag is recommended. We advise against the use of panniers or backpacks.

Lunch & Dinner

Chances are we will have lunch on the road at a nice café on each day. We will aim to have at least one cafe stop each day, if not two! Dinner will be in town once we freshen up after the ride!

Transport to & from East London

The ride begins & ends in East London. If required, we can support riders getting to & from the start.

Medical cover

We encourage our riders to apply for a GHIC Card (Free) which allows free treatment in the EU in the case of an accident

Refunds

Full refunds can be given up to 60 days before the trip, after which refunds are unavailable unfortunately.

Emergency fund

While we will offer our best support in times of need; if a major mechanical or illness befalls a rider, we are not liable for the cost in getting the rider home.

Depending on applicants, we will have up to 4 groups riding at various speeds in order to cater for all. If enough people are keen, there may be an option to extend the route too!

This ride is catered for exactly that. An introduction to bikepacking; we will support you before the trip to help get the relevant kit together.

Firstly, our previous tours have been 3 days. Having an extra day allows us to cover more of Europe, with less pressure on covering ground each day. This also means more time in the evening to explore the towns & cities we reside in. Also, we are, for the first time attempting this route in reverse! Should be interesting!

Yes
We ask anyone applying to be able to ride a century comfortably at 12mph or more. If you are not quite there yet, we can support you in getting there. We may turn down applicants if we deem their riding not in accordance with this guideline.
We don't offer a support vehicle for the ride. We expect riders to be self-sufficient when traveling on these trips. Ride leaders will be around to support in case of any mishaps. In extreme situations, it may be necessary to take a train or taxi to the destination.
Yes! Along with detailed routes, café stops and general tips & tricks.
