We roll out from Stratford International and take the train to Dover, where the adventure begins. After crossing the Channel by ferry to Dunkirk, we hit the road for our first leg: a 60-mile ride through northern France into Kortrijk, Belgium, a historic cycling town and our first overnight stop.
Today’s route takes us deep into the Belgian countryside. We’ll ride through the cobbled charm of Ghent, before continuing on to the capital, Brussels. Expect smooth roads, café stops, and plenty of local character across another 60-mile day.
Our longest and most rewarding day, 105 miles from Brussels to the Hook of Holland. Crossing borders and landscapes, this stage is what European cycling dreams are made of. We’ll finish by boarding the overnight ferry back to England, resting up as the ship carries us home.
We disembark at Harwich, ready for our final push, a 70-mile ride back to East London. It’s the perfect ending to an incredible journey: four days, three countries, and countless memories.
